Premium Hotel Restaurant of the Year

This category is open to restaurants within luxury, premium lifestyle or boutique hotels across Victoria. This category is heavily weighted towards service execution and unparalleled guest experience, where restaurants curate unforgettable experiences.

Previous winners include Members’ Dining Room - RACV City Club, Warabi – W Melbourne and Doot Doot Doot – Jackalope.

Judges will be assessing the following criteria:

  • General - signage, cleanliness, décor, design, lighting, atmosphere, security and safety.
  • Menu
  • Beverages
  • Food and presentation
  • Staff
  • Telephone technique
  • Environmental sustainability
  • Overall experience

Judging will take place via anonymous site inspection, Sunday – Friday. Written submissions are not required and will not be considered during the judging process.

Hotels nominating in this category will be invoiced to reimburse two courses and two beverages.

Accommodation Awards

Hotels can only nominate in one accommodation specific category (e.g. Luxury Accommodation Hotel of the Year) per venue.

Cost: $160 + Reimbursement to cover the cost of anonymous property judging.

Onsite Offering Awards

Hotels can make multiple nominations in the Onsite Offering Awards categories (e.g. Premium Hotel Restaurant of the Year, Hotel Bar of the Year, Hotel Club Lounge and Hotel Spa of the Year).

Cost: $160 + Reimbursement to cover the cost of anonymous property judging.
