Motel of the Year
Nominees in this category are limited-service accommodation providers, typically motels, operating anywhere in Victoria. Although they might not boast extensive amenities and facilities, their service and communication with guests is still top notch.
Previous winners of this category are Sovereign Park Motor Inn and The Matador.
Judges will be assessing the following criteria:
- Parking
- General criteria - signage, cleanliness, décor, design, lighting, atmosphere, security and safety.
- Reception
- Motel facilities
- Accuracy and ease of facilities
- Guest room

Judging will take place via anonymous site inspection, Sunday – Friday.

Hotels nominating in this category will be invoiced to reimburse one night's accommodation - standard room.
