Hotel Restaurant of the Year (mid and superior hotels)
Criteria for entry: This category is open to restaurants within midscale to superior hotels located in metropolitan Melbourne. Download the full judging criteria for this category here.
Location: Metropolitan Melbourne
JUDGING: Anonymous site inspection, Monday – Thursday.
Written submissions are not required and will not be considered during the judging process.

*Hotels nominating in this category will be invoiced to reimburse two courses and two beverages.*
Judges will be assessing the following points:
- General - signage, cleanliness, décor, design, lighting, atmosphere, security and safety.
- Menu
- Beverages
- Food and presentation
- Staff
- Telephone technique
- Environmental sustainability
- Overall experienc

Hotels can only nominate in one accommodation specific category (e.g. Deluxe Accommodation Hotel of the Year) per venue.
Cost: $150 + Reimbursement to cover the cost of anonymous property judging.
