Best Meeting and Events Space of the Year
Criteria for entry: This category is open to all accommodation providers across Victoria that provide meeting and event facilities for their guests. An emphasis on customer service is central to this award. Please note, a metropolitan and regional winner will be awarded for this category.
This category is subject to an anonymous property visit where judges will request a site visit with a staff member, posing as if they were interested in booking an event at your venue.

Location: Statewide
JUDGING: Anonymous site inspection (Monday – Friday), revision of events pack and information, and general customer experience
*ELIGIBLE FOR ENTRY INTO THE NATIONAL AWARD FOR BEST MEETING AND EVENTS VENUE*
Judges will be assessing the following points:
- Online presence;
- Booking process including customer service;
- Staff greeting and event consultation;
- Technology, AV, catering, and configuration options
- Meeting and event facilities
Documents required for submission:
- A copy of your meeting and events pack including catering.

Hotels can only nominate in one accommodation specific category (e.g. Deluxe Accommodation Hotel of the Year) per venue.
Cost: $150 + Reimbursement to cover the cost of anonymous property judging.

Onsite Offering Awards
Hotels can make multiple nominations in the Onsite Offering Awards categories (e.g. Deluxe Restaurant of the Year, Hotel Bar of the Year, Hotel Club Lounge and Hotel Spa of the Year).
Cost: $150 + Reimbursement to cover the cost of anonymous property judging.
Hotel Achievement Awards
Hotels can nominate in more than one category.

Hotels can nominate one employee per category.
